Meet the Brothers Behind The Glancy Agency
Insurance has always been a family business for Mike and Joe. Their father was an Allstate agent in Florida for 30 years before selling his agency and retiring, and both brothers followed in his footsteps by building insurance careers of their own.
In 2004, Mike and Joe decided to bring their individual agencies together. The idea was pretty simple: why not work side by side, see each other every day, and build something great together? It worked because their strengths compliment each other. Mike focuses on relationships and community connections, while Joe focuses on the numbers, staff, and operations that keep the agency moving.
Today, The Glancy Agency is a local, family-owned agency right here in Acworth, built on decades of experience, a family legacy in insurance, and strong relationships within the community. It started as a family business, and that sense of family is still at the heart of The Glancy Agency today.

Mike Glancy
Mike began his insurance career in 1996 and has spent nearly three decades building relationships across the Acworth community. He's the face you'll often see at local events, the voice on the other end of the phone, and the reason so many clients have stayed with The Glancy Agency for years. Outside the office, Mike is a family man through and through. He and his wife, Laura, of 35 years have three adult children. Whether on the porch, in the pool, or on the lake, when he's not working he's relaxing with Laura and their many friends. He also cheers for the Braves, Falcons, Hawks, and Atlanta United.

Joe Glancy
Joe began his insurance career in 1998 and brings nearly three decades of experience to The Glancy Agency. He works closely with the staff, oversees the day-to-day operations, and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. When Joe isn't at the office, you'll probably find him watching a game, out on the water, or somewhere listening to live music. Joe and his wife, Brooke, have five kids — Bryce, Corbin, Nevin, Gwyn, and Caden — so there's rarely a dull moment.
